SIEM REAP, CAMBODIA - Open Studio Cambodia and TRIBE Cambodia Art Gallery present the debut solo exhibition of Morn Chear in Siem Reap, Cambodia. This unique body of work is created entirely in relief lino-cut block print, a technique rarely seen in Cambodia. Drawn free-hand and then meticulously chiseled, Morn’s images playfully depict everyday scenes from his personal life: his wife washes the laundry by hand, a dog takes a nap in the alley, fish grill on a small barbecue, he rides his motorbike into the distance. Morn’s work celebrates the small moments of joy, tenderness, affection in the mundane musings of everyday life, creating small celebrations of “the space between.” READ FULL ARTICLE

The Space Between Us is one of my favorite movies this year. The story was about love, however, it was not the same as normal stories. Most of what the story tackled is how distance can mean everything to love. There are people who are able to make it work, but believe me, it is almost impossible. Love is not strong of a thing, it is often time a deal breaker when you have to travel for hours to meet with someone for twenty minutes.
