"What Is Important" (2019), Morn Chear, limited edition block print
“This picture shows the activities of my nephew and my wife preparing our belongings for moving from Kampot to Siem Reap. We both decided to quit our jobs to work with Open Studio Cambodia because art is the work I love, and my wife decided to follow me. The important things, we kept. Some other things, we gave to a friend who we used to live with before. We both did not want to leave our former rented house because the house is where we lived for many years."
រូបមួយនេះគឺជាសកម្មភាពក្មួយនឹងប្រពន្ធខ្ញុំបានរៀបចំសម្ភារៈ សម្រាប់ផ្លាស់ប្ដូរទីលំនៅពីខេត្តកំពតមករស់នៅខេត្តសៀមរាប។ ដែលពួកខ្ញុំទាំងពីរនាក់បានសម្រេចចិត្តសុំឈប់ពីការងារមួយកន្លែង មកធ្វើការជាមួយនឹង អូផេន ស្ទូឌីយោ ខេមបូឌា គឺជាការងារសិល្បៈគំនូដែលខ្ញុំស្រលាញ់ ហើយភរិយាខ្ញុំក៏សម្រេចចិត្តឈប់តាមខ្ញុំដែរ។ ហើយសម្ភារៈដែលសំខាន់គឺយើងយកវាទុកជាប់ខ្លួនមកជាមួយ សម្ភារៈខ្លះទៀតគឺយើងបានឲ្យទៅមិត្តភក្កិដែលយើងធ្លាប់រស់នៅក្បែរគ្នាពីមុនមក ពួកយើងទាំងពីរនាក់មិនចង់ចាកចេញពីផ្ទះជួលនោះឡើយដោយសារផ្ទះនោះគឺពួកយើងបានរស់នៅជាយូរឆ្នាំមកហើយ។
